Work Packages

Work Package 1:

Project management and coordination

This work package ensures the smooth operation of the project through effective coordination, administration, and monitoring. It covers decision-making, risk management, reporting, and quality assurance, while supporting strong collaboration and ethical project implementation.

Work Package 2:

Co-design Maker Competence Framework & Teacher Training Courses in Maker Education

This work package bridges teacher education and maker education by co-designing a Maker Competence Framework and developing training modules for teachers. It aims to strengthen innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills in schools through hands-on maker pedagogy and collaborative learning.

Work Package 3:

Implement joint training courses & summer school

This work package focuses on piloting joint blended learning courses and a summer school in maker education for initial teacher training. It promotes mobility (physical, virtual, and hybrid), international collaboration, and ensures that future teachers experience hands-on maker pedagogy in real and online environments.

Work Package 4:

Implement joint training & summer school for in-service teachers

This work package designs and pilots blended training courses and a summer school on maker education for in-service teachers. It supports internationalisation and mobility (virtual, physical, blended), and helps teachers adopt maker pedagogy through real-life practice, peer learning, and hands-on experimentation.

Work Package 5:

Maker Education Goes to Schools: Student-Teachers and In-Service Teachers Facilitate Pilots in School Classes

WP5 transforms training into real-world impact by implementing maker projects in schools. Both student-teachers and in-service teachers, after completing their training in WP3 and WP4, apply their knowledge directly in school classrooms by leading pilot activities.

Work Package 6:

Evaluation of teacher training & school pilots

This work package develops and implements evaluation methodologies to assess the impact of training and school pilots from both teacher and student perspectives. It ensures continuous improvement of the learning modules and generates evidence-based insights for future teacher education and policy development.

Work Package 7:

Establishment of the Teacher Academy for Maker Education, Dissemination, Impact Creation & Sustainability Measures

This work package establishes the Teacher Academy for Maker Education as a long-term, transnational initiative. It focuses on impact creation, dissemination, alignment with EU education strategies, and ensuring sustainability beyond the project’s lifetime through strong networking and funding efforts.
